Frequently Asked Questions
Why are your pries a little higher?
Faster groomers may put multiple people on one dog, or they may rush the process. Many salons upsell finishing the groom by charging more for feet, ears, and teeth.
Can I come in with my dog?
Most dogs behave better when you are not there. They relax and can enjoy the experience. But, if your dog is afraid when you are not there and needs you , then we will accomodate your helping to make the experience the least stressful that we can.
If the dog is too upset, or has history of not enjoying grooming, then we will discuss inviting you to the grooming room.
Do You Charge More for Doodles?
Doodles coats can be a combination of curley, wired, silky, etc. This mats easily.
This can increase the cost of the groom, especially if you do not brush and comb your dog once a week. We do not add a ‘doodle fee’ but we may require longer to finish the groom, especially .
Do Groomers Keep their tips?
At StaynPlay groomers keep 100% of their tips. It is the groomer’s choice if they want to share them with the bathers.
Are vaccination records required before my dog attends?
Yes. Your dog’s vaccination records must be submitted and reviewed before we can accept your dog into our care. Please do not wait until drop-off to provide the records, because we need time to confirm that the required information is complete before your dog enters the daycare environment. If you are unsure what records are currently required, contact StaynPlay before booking and our team will tell you what needs to be submitted.
